Q1:What made you decide to study in China, and why did you choose BGD?
A:I came to China because, although I’m Chinese, I was born and raised in Belgium, where I didn’t have many opportunities to connect with Chinese culture. Being here has allowed me to discover new things. As an architecture student who studies a lot of European history, I’m eager to learn more about Chinese long history and how the country has developed.
Q2: What's your first impression of BGD?
A:Our campus back home is nice too, But here at BGD there are more activities and a stronger sense of community. Everyone is in the same place, and there’s so much to do after class. It’s impressive.
Q3: During your time here so far, are there any events, an activity or person that left a deep impression on you? Could you share why it is so memorable?
A:What I love most is the close relationship between students and teachers. It’s something I really appreciate.
Q4:Do you think you would like to come back to China again in the future to study or maybe even to work or live there?
A:Life here may be more challenging compared to Europe, but I definitely hope to return to China in the future—whether for work or travel.
Q5:How do you think your study experience in China will help or influence your future development?
A:It will definitely help me. People here work more directly and focus on solving problems, while in my country we pay more attention to details. Learning these different approaches might make me more efficient in the future.
